The Welland International Flatwater Centre is a current canoeing, kayaking and rowing facility in Welland. Home to the 2015 Pan Am Games, yearly Dragon Boat Races and triathlons, including the coming Niagara 2021 Canada Summer Games.

Mud Lake

Mud Lake is located in Port Colborne beside the Old Welland Canal. Encompassing over 60 hectares of wetland and 54 hectares of field. This man-made wetland is an important resting and feeding stop for migratory birds. Claiming numerous rare bird sightings. Mud Lake provides a unique setting for both novice and expert bird watchers. Explore three trails ranging from twenty minutes to over one hour of nature hiking. Three wildlife viewing blinds/waterfowl blinds are accessible by canoe. Port Colborne Historical Marine Museum and Heritage Village

Port Colborne Historical & Marine Museum is one of Port Colborne's jewels and close to Talwood Manor. It is located in a 1869 Georgian Revival style Williams Home The home serves as the main exhibit, interpreting the history of Port Colborne and the Welland Canal.

Heritage Village, on the museum grounds, includes a log school house, Sherk-Troup log house and a blacksmith shop.
See Canada's Century Car, the Neff Steam Buggy, built in 1901 in Port Colborne (formerly Humberstone), stored in the resource centre. Enjoy the seasonal exhibits during Canal Days and the Olde Fashion Christmas.
